John Packer Quality Musical Instruments and Accessories are available New Zealand wide through an extensive network of retail stores.

THE JP PROJECT
The John packer company in the UK and the Music Ways company in NZ may be poles apart in terms of distance however they both share a common aim leading to a unique synergy to develop the finest range of student and intermediate brass and woodwind instruments available anywhere on the globe. A decision was taken in early 2008 to combine the efforts of both companies and pool the extensive resources of John Packer and Riki McDonnell for the supply of instruments into the ocenanic area. Both regard themselves as musicians first and for over 30 years have been regarded as amongst the leading lights in their respective markets. The unique partnership of these 2 companies will ensure that the JP partnership continues to redefine student instruments.

Trumpets

JP051 Trumpet - Jade Series

Superb student trumpet.
High specification and performance at an affordable price. Designed with the beginner in mind, the 051 offers a supportive resistance, full sound and easy playing characteristics. This is an excellent starter instrument.
On the third valve slide there is an adjustable finger ring. This is a great thought and is ideal for growing hands and fingers! The trumpet is built using a rose brass lead pipe. The outer coat to the slides is nickel and the third slide has a water key on it (brilliant for beginners to find that hidden water). It is  a light trumpet but still feels a sturdy and stable instrument to hold.
